Raven Jemison, President of the Kansas City Current is an experienced sports business executive, nonprofit board member, and the author of More Than Representation: The Cheat Codes to Own Your Seat at the Table.
A native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, she has overcome significant barriers to become a respected leader in professional sports and entertainment. Raven currently serves with the Kansas City Current after spending three years as Executive Vice President of Business Operations for the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks. During her tenure, the Bucks won their division each year and captured the 2021 NBA Championship. Off the court, her leadership drove impressive growth across all major departments while expanding the organization’s data analytics and digital marketing capabilities.
A prominent role model for underrepresented communities, Raven is known for building and motivating diverse teams and is deeply committed to expanding access to quality education, advancing equity in the arts, and advocating for human rights.
