Raven Jemison was appointed Team President of the Kansas City Current in January 2024. She oversees all business operations and led the club while opening the inaugural season in CPKC Stadium.

Jemison joined the club after spending the previous four seasons as the Executive Vice President of Business Operations for the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks. Off the court, Jemison’s leadership enabled the Bucks to produce impressive growth across all revenue generating departments while focusing on operational excellence and efficiencies.

Her sports career began in the NHL as an Inside Sales Representative for the Florida Panthers. From there, she worked her way up the corporate ladder with the Pittsburgh Pirates (MLB) and San Francisco 49ers (NFL) before joining the NBA’s Team Marketing & Business Operations (TMBO) department.

Beyond her executive success, Raven is the author of "More Than Representation: The Cheat Codes to Own Your Seat at the Table", a memoir that chronicles her rise as a queer Black woman navigating and reshaping the traditionally male-dominated sports industry.

In 2021 Jemison was named one of Ad Week's Most Powerful Women in Sports. She was notably a 2022 SBJ Gamechanger. In 2025 she became a KCBJ Woman of Influence, one of 10 InKC Innovators and Influencers, and earned the Women Leaders in Sports 2025 Most Resilient Award.
